The key to helping your dog live their best life

This post is sponsored by Wellness CORE but the content and opinions expressed here are my own.

As a mom of 2 baby girls, I sure do have my hands full. Between our busy mornings, feedings, and daily chores it can all be overwhelming at times. But you know what they say, hands full, heart fuller. The girls have always been my number one priority, but on April 2nd of this year we decided to add just one more little one to that list of priorities. Duke was added to our family, and he has been such a blessing to us and to our girls. I have really enjoyed watching them grow with their best friend, and have loved showing them the love and care it takes to raise a pup.

Watching our golden retriever grow has been so amazing to watch, he has really blossomed before our very eyes. Everyday the girls and Duke grow closer, and it absolutely melts my heart. Kim has especially taken to him, and most times I turn around she’s laying on top of him or letting him lick her face. She really is fearless!  The girls really enjoy watching me bathe him, take him out for his daily potty breaks, walks, and feedings. We have also been training him to sit, stay, and shake, which has been especially rewarding.

Duke has an assortment of treats we use for his training. But when it comes to food we are rather picky. After trying a few dog brands we have fallen in love with Wellness CORE RawRev with Wholesome Grains. We love that it’s key ingredients include pieces of 100% raw freeze dried Turkey, Chicken Livers and Flaxseed. Made out of wholesome grains, and high protein, Wellness CORE RawRev with Wholesome Grains helps with Duke’s muscle mass and tone to keep him strong and healthy for our walks and active lifestyle. The Glucosamine and Chondroitin included in their Original blend also helps with joint support!

Wellness CORE RawRev with Wholesome Grains also includes Omega Fatty Acids, which keeps Dukes skin and coat looking shiny and healthy. Who wouldn’t want their dog to be healthy on the inside, and look healthy on the outside as well? We want to make sure we keep up with Duke’s health as he grows from a pup to an adult dog so he can live a long and healthy life. There’s nothing more important to us than giving him the absolute best, and it starts with the little things. Leading a more healthy life includes, more cuddles, more belly rubs, and way more family time together.

Since having a baby boy I deafly can say my dog doesn’t get as much attention. So I am trying to find ways to to make more time but I can also just stop by being more intentional about his food. Thank you for making this post and educating us on better food choices for our dogs.
