To shop or to skip this years sale? I’ll show you my top picks for this fall season and how I would style them. What’s worth it, and what’s not. Let’s take a look at my first impressions before I shopped the sale.

I did end up purchasing a lot of these items and will tell you that most all of the items ran large. I wasn’t able to get my hands on a silk skirt as I was awaiting to see if the black would come back in stock. But to my disappointment it never did.
The free people brown leather skirt, black leather pants and jacket with faux fur lining all ran super big. I had to size down and by the time I tried to reorder the correct sizing they were all sold out. The leather pants do need to be hemmed because my height and also run large.

The Wayf Tulip mock top was a favorite of mine. I paired it with a long denim skirt (also from the sale) and a white skort and loved both looks. The Blondo boot were also a great option for a western fall look.

The Blondo boot are a suede material but are water proof, which I think makes them perfect for fall.

This frayed hem denim skirt was also SO cute, but it did run large and a little too long for my height. I do however think it would be adorable on someone taller!
The free people slouchy tunic was also a great option for fall. Simplistic and great quality, a warm thick material, I paired it with black SPANX (also part of the Nordstrom sale) black booties and a cowboy hat.

All in all, I decided to keep my purchases to basic pieces that are also trending. Leather, denim and western styled pieces that I can easily mix and match. The Nordstrom sale is still ongoing, prices go back to normal August 7th, so make sure to stock up on staples for fall at a bargain!
