If you’re like me your always in a rush. Between Hailee’s gymnastics practice, daily gym sessions, and a demanding work schedule I love when I can get a balanced meal quick and easily! Here is my go to recipe for both mine and the girls over night oats, for when we need to get out the door quick and also want to skip the drive-thru.
The Girls Over Night Oats
What you’ll need :
- 1/3 cup Old Fashioned Rolled Oats
- 1/3 cup Almond Milk
- 1 Tablespoon of Chia Seeds
- 1/3 Yogurt (optional)
- 1/ Tablespoon of Honey (or sweetener of your choice)
- Fresh Fruit
- Nuts (of your choice)
Mix all Ingredients with exception of fruit and nuts together. Store in fridge overnight. In the morning add all of your fresh fruits and nuts and go!
My Over Night Oats
My overnight oats are made the same way with the exception of the almond milk. Instead of the almond milk I substitute Premier Protein’s chocolate peanut butter shake in its place. It gives my oats added flavor and the additional protein I need to meet my diet goals.
